sacred romance

have not read a good book for a long time. i'm reading sacred romance by Brent Curtis and John Eldredge.

a sneak peek

Life is more than chores, and Christianity is more than duty. It is a Sacred Romance--a great love story set in the midst of a life and death battle.

you'll have to read it. will comment on it late

it was the worst of times,it was the best of times

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times",
borrowed it from a tale of 2 cities by Charles Dickens (although mine is 'terbalik'*). i'm sorry but i have not read it, i've read great expectations though.

i'm sort of going through the worst of time although i sure many will not agree as it is due to my onw doing, but i've also found it's the best of time, being able to see God's hand in all that's going on.

it's not escapism but as i ponder on it, i know surely God's hand is in it and am able to give thanks.

i'm sorry it's very fragmented as i do not want this place to be a place where i rant and complain, there's already enough blogs doing that.

this is for me, when i look back i know God did not leave me all alone to face the difficult times but that He showed me He knows what i'm going through and provide me with much encouragement.

* terbalik = upside down

7 year olds

i'm teaching them in church, in Sunday School. i must say they're a good age to teach. follows instructions well and very excitable (which can sometimes be bad). there are around 15 in class and every sunday i get to spend around 20 to 30 minutes with them. after classes i wish the classes were slightly longer or more frequent.
on the frist sunday only 1/2 turned up and last sunday i had to go through lots of things with them again - letter to parent, cost for material and well as list for memory verses.

most of them don't even have a file to keep all these things. maybe parents see this as a 'baby sitting' class.

i have wonderful helpers which i've yet to make full use of (hehehe....). i'm excited about the class although i think i've not been too successful getting the lesson across. i try to do object lessons so that they can remember better.

on work front, things are moving along, we're not operating at full or even high capacity only one dept is doing that. i sometimes like not being too busy at work can be worrying.

God have been very gracious to me, providing me encouragements at the correct moments.
